Loralai Prepares to Celebrate Christmas with Enhanced Security
Loralai: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Abdullah Zehri to discuss security arrangements for Christmas celebrations on December 25. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Loralai Ajmal Khan Mandokhail, DSP Saddar Abdul Karim Mandokhail, and representatives of the Christian community and security forces.
The meeting decided to make foolproof security arrangements for all minority worship places in the district on Christmas Day. Zehri emphasized that protecting all citizens, regardless of their faith, is the responsibility of the district administration.
Zehri also highlighted the importance of interfaith harmony and tolerance, saying that Loralai has a tradition of mutual respect among people of different faiths and ethnicities. He added that all citizens are guaranteed equal rights and citizenship, regardless of their religion or creed.
The meeting’s decision to enhance security for Christmas celebrations is a welcome move, especially considering the recent attacks on churches and Christian communities in Pakistan. The government’s efforts to promote interfaith harmony and ensure the safety of all citizens are crucial for fostering a peaceful and inclusive society.
