Sindh’s Rich Cultural Heritage Showcased at Badh Public School
Larkana: Dec 22. Ghulam Hyder Memorial Public School in Badh, Larkana, recently organized a vibrant cultural event to pay tribute to Sindh’s rich cultural heritage. The event was attended by a large number of students, parents, and teachers.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Hamd, and Naat, followed by the national anthem. Guests were presented with traditional Sindhi ajrak as a token of appreciation.
Students showcased their talent through various performances, including Sindhi jhumar, speeches, songs, stage dramas, and tableaux. The tableaux conveyed important social messages, such as the spiritual love story of Sassi Punnhun, the moral tale of Umar, and the importance of polio vaccination.
The event also featured a traditional Sindhi wedding ceremony, highlighting the province’s rich cultural traditions. The program was hosted by Zakia and Shafqat Phulpoto.
