WASA Managing Director Urges Immediate Solution to Water Crisis in Quetta
Quetta: A joint meeting of all officers and engineers of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) was held under the chairmanship of Managing Director Muhammad Gul Khrodi. Addressing the meeting, the Managing Director emphasized the need for immediate resolution of the severe water crisis faced by the people of Quetta.
He directed the engineers and officers to work diligently to address the issue, ensuring no delays in the repair of tube wells. The Managing Director also announced a crackdown against illegal tube wells and connections in the city, with the assistance of the district administration.
Highlighting WASA’s primary responsibility to resolve water-related issues, he warned against any negligence or laxity in this regard. The Managing Director further announced plans to hold open courts and community meetings in different areas to address public grievances.
He appealed to the public to pay their WASA dues to facilitate the resolution of their water-related issues. The Managing Director also warned that any WASA employee found involved in illegal drilling or connections would face consequences.
