CS directs secretaries to pay special attention on file trekking system, resolving public complaints

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan has directed to all administrative secretaries of the provincial government departments to pay special attention on the file trekking system and removing public grievances registered on the Pakistan Citizen Portal.
He also directed to resolve the pending and overdue cases at the earliest.
In addition to this, implementation on the development projects must be ensured within stipulated time.
The Chief Secretary issued these directives during the course of meeting of the secretaries committee here on Tuesday.
The Additional Chief Secretary Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Shahab Ali Shah, senior Member Board of Revenue, Qambar Dashti were also in attendance at the meeting.
The Chief Secretary asserted that no compromise would be made on quality of work on the development projects.
He stressed that it should be top priority of the officers to work for welfare of the general public.
In this regard, no leniency would be tolerated whatsoever, adding he asserted.
He on the occasion also directed to make recruitments on the vacant posts in transparent manner.
Moreover, steps should be taken to dispose of all the pending cases of promotions of the employees, he added.
During the meeting, it was informed that attendance of the employees would be taken in the government offices through artificial intelligence.
The Chief Secretary also directed to the Secretaries to update the websites of their respective departments.
