Well aware of hardships of people from agriculture sector: Chier Minister assures provision of modern facilities for zamindars

Mir Sarfraz Bugti says welfare of farmers top priority of his government;
coalescent policy being formulated for promotion of agriculture sector

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that welfare of farmers is top priority of his government and as such the coalescent policy is being formulated for promotion of agriculture sector in the province.
The Chief Minister was speaking to a delegation of Zamindar Action Committee (ZAC) Killa Saifullah who called on him under leadership of provincial Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Abdul Wasey here at the CM’s secretariat on Thursday morning.
The zamindars belonging to Killa Saifullah informed the Chief Minister about the issues being faced by them.
The Chief Minister said that we are well aware of the hardships being faced by the growers of province, and as such we are taking steps to address them. He said that agriculture is just like backbone of the economy of Balochistan.
He said that the steps have been taken to shift the agricultural tube wells on solar energy for resolving the electricity related issues on permanent basis. He said that the sufferings and expenditures of zamindars would be decreased with solarization of agricultural tube wells.
We would take wholehearted measures for resolving the problems facing the growers, he added mentioning that they would be provided modern facilities.
