Maintaining law & order, controllingcrimes, public service included in top priorities, says IGP

QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Moazzam Jah Ansari has stated that it is included in our priorities to maintain law & order as well as to control crimes, provide services to general public and welfare of the force.
He said that the crimes and social evils can be eliminated through self-accountability and individuals’ character.
He stressed the need to fully benefit from the modern technology in the war against terrorism and criminal elements.
These views were expressed by the IGP while speaking to the under-trainee officers participating in the 42nd Mid-career Management Course (MCMC) of the National Institute of Management here at the Central Police Office on Tuesday.
The IGP maintained that it is necessary to benefit from the modern technology for elimination of terrorism and combating criminal elements.
He said that Balochistan Police is fully engaged in effective public service delivery and elimination of crimes by upgrading all police stations as smart ones.
He said that the data of all criminals and crimes have been recorded under data system by the Police Department, which is commendable.
However, we have to strengthen our interrogation system for ensuring modern policing and better public service.
He exhorted the under trainee officers to discharge their professional duties with dedication so as to remember their services in good words.
He also said that the Police has been taking steps on priority for community policing besides public service and prevention of crimes.
Similarly, women police stations and juvenile and facilitation centres have been set up for protection and support of the weak segments of the society including women and transgenders, he added.
