Sports Secretary Stresses Importance of Providing Recreational Opportunities for Youth
Pishin, Jan. 30: Secretary Sports, Tariq Qamar Baloch, emphasized the significance of providing recreational opportunities for the youth, stating that it is a top priority for the government. He highlighted the importance of sports in shaping a healthy society, saying that sports fields must be developed to promote physical and mental well-being.
Baloch made these remarks during his visit to the under-construction Sports Complex in Pishin, where he was accompanied by Director General Sports Dr. Yasir Khan Bazai, Additional Deputy Commissioner Yasin Akhtar Shah, Sports Officer Muhammad Ibrahim Kakar, and engineers Ferouz Abro, Arslan Khan, and Sheikh Aslam.
The Sports Secretary expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction work and directed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project. He also stressed the importance of using high-quality materials in the construction process.
During the visit, Baloch also inspected the Taj Lala Football Stadium and the local Rest House Futsal Ground. The contractor, Muhammad Aslam, briefed him on the various aspects of the Sports Complex project.
