An important meeting was held regarding the trials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa GamesU-22 2025, which was chaired by Regional Sports Officer Kohat Division Anwar Kamal Barki. The meeting was attended by District Education Officer (M) Kohat Zahoor Ahmed Khan, Assistant District Education Officer (Sports) Abid Shah, Principals, Headmasters and Physical Education Teachers of all high and higher secondary schools of the district.
The meeting shed detailed light on the organization of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Games 2025 and its basic objectives. Regional Sports Officer Anwar Kamal Barki said in his address that the top priority of the provincial government, Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and District Administration Kohat is to provide a strong platform to the youth of every district.
This is the first time that we have come to Kohat to involve the youth of Kohat, whether boys or girls, in the games, so that every talented player gets equal opportunities for development.
Regional Sports Officer kohat Anwar Kamal Barki announced that the boys trials of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Games 2025 will be held, God willing, on Tuesday, February 4, at 8 am at the Kohat Sports Complex. The conditions of which are as follows.
Under-22 players, who are residents of Kohat, must bring their identity card or Form B to participate.
Players are encouraged to come in any sports uniform, however, if not available, they will also be allowed to participate in shalwar kameez.
District Education Officer( M)Kohat Zahoor Ahmed Khan and Assistant District Education Officer (Sports) Abid Shah also directed the principals and headmasters to prepare maximum number of players from their schools to participate in these trials, so that the government’s mission of promoting sports can be implemented and maximum youth get the opportunity to benefit from this facility.
The meeting expressed its determination that all possible facilities will be provided to Kohat players to advance at the provincial level and it will be ensured that the message reaches every corner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that sports are “for all”, and the government is determined to provide opportunities to every player.
The heads of educational institutions appreciated this important initiative and pledged to ensure full participation of students.
