High time is to review our priorities afresh: We have been failed in making our disabled persons useful citizens of society, says Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has regretfully pointed out that the developed nations of the world have been taking work from the robots while we have been wasting our precious human resources at big scale. The developed nations are utilizing the science and technology for enhancing the unused capabilities of the human being. They have also succeeded in making their physically disabled people as scientists by empowering them.
This is why, it is high time that we may review our priorities afresh.
The Governor stressed the need to ensure implementation on quota allocated for the disabled persons strictly.
The Governor was speaking to the delegation of All disabled persons welfare society Balochistan who called on him under leadership of the Editor of Daily Jang, Khalil Ahmed and Bureau Chief of Express News, Razaur Rehman here on Saturday.
The Governor on the occasion urged the special persons to fully benefit from the benefits of new technology.
They should not limit them to the outdated traditional concepts because they are not disabled.
Rather, the nature has bestowed the special persons with different capabilities, he added.
The Governor also said that it is responsibility of the government to form such a society which values diversity and provides equal facilities and opportunities for every human being including male and female.
