First desert Jeep & Car Rally held in Noshki
QUETTA: First ever desert Jeep and Car Rally was organized in Noshki on Sunday.
The rare sport event was organized by the Noshki district administration and Frontier Corps Balochistan in the Giri Dak’s Golden Desert.
A large number of vehicles participated in the rally, which had the cultural and traditional colours.
A large number of spectators mostly the sports lovers witnessed the desert rally and enjoyed a lot.
The camel race, traditional Balochi dance and other sports activities were part of the colorful sports event.
The local artists enthralled the audience with thrilling performance. Meanwhile, the Member Provincial Assembly. Ravi Pahuja was the chief guest at the final event and ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Pahuja said that it is for the first time that such an event was organized in Noshki.
This would not only promote tourism in the area, but it would also help provide opportunities of positive activities to youth, he added. He said the event is an attempt to bring beauty of Noshki before the world.
Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among the drivers who demonstrated best performance in the event.
