Former Minister Education dies: Provincial Ministers condole death

QUETTA: The former Provincial Minister for Education, Tahir Mehmood Khan passed away after brief illness in Karachi on Sunday. He was 69.
According to the family sources, Tahir Mehmood Khan was admitted in a private hospital of Karachi for some time, where he breathed his last in wee hours of Sunday.
Later, his body was brought from Karachi to Quetta for burial.
Tahir Mehmood Khan Khan was born on 24 April 1956 in Quetta, and has a degree in Master of Arts and a degree in the Bachelors of Laws. He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) from Constituency PB-1 Quetta-I in 2013 Pakistani general election.
Meanwhile, the Parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz in provincial assembly and Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mir Saleem Khosa, Provincial Ministers Mir Sadiq Umrani, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani and Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Advisor to Chief Minister for Environment, Naseemur Rehman and others expressed sorrow over death of Tahir Mehmood Khan.
In their separate condolence messages, Mir Saleem Khosa, Sadiq Umrani, Shoaib Nosherwani, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran and others said that the late Tahir Mehmood was a nice and courteous person.
The services of Tahir Mehmood Khan for the people of Quetta and politics would always be remembered, said provincial ministers.
They prayed that May Allah Almighty rest the departed soul into Its eternal peace and give enough strength and patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
