Governor, CM grieved over death of Tahir Mehmood Khan; pay rich tributes on services
QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti have expressed deep grief and sorrow over death of former Provincial Minister Education, Tahir Mehmood Khan.
In their condolence messages issued here on Sunday, the Governor and Chief Minister paid rich tributes to late Tahir Mehmood Khan on the remarkable services he rendered for the cause of education and public service.
The Governor said that the late Tahir Mehmood Khan was a social activist, gentleman and kind person.
He said that the political and educational services would be remembered for long time.
The Governor expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul. He prayed that may Allay Almighty rest the departed soul into Its eternal peace and give enough patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that the late Tahir Mehmood Khan was a sincere, good-natured and a politician having spirit of public service.
He said that the death of Tahir Mehmood Khan is an irreparable loss for the province. Tahir Mehmood Khan had devoted his life for the cause of promotion of education and public service, the Chief Minister added.
He said that Tahir Mehmood remained in the forefront for serving people of his election constituency after death of the PPP’s jiyala, Shaheed Shafiq Ahmed Khan.
He prayed for the departed soul and grant of patience to the bereaved family.
