Train service suspended from Quetta for interior country, Chaman
QUETTA: The train service was suspended from Quetta for the interior country and Chaman on Wednesday.
According to the officials of Pakistan Railways, the operation of Jaffar Express and Bolan Mail was suspended for Peshawar and Karachi respectively.
The PR sources said that the train operation of Jaffar Express and Bolan Mail has been suspended for three days.
However, the operation of both trains would be resumed after security clearance even after three days.
Similarly, he Chaman Passenger train was also suspended from Quetta Railway Station on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, an emergency information desk has been set up for information about the passengers at the Quetta railway station.
It may be mentioned here that the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express had come under terrorists’ attack in Bolan pass, Kachhi district on Tuesday afternoon.
The unknown armed assailants had made the passengers of train hostage. However, over 150 were freed later.
