Jaffar Express set to resume operation from Quetta to Peshawar today

QUETTA: The operation of Jaffar Express is scheduled to resume from Quetta Railway Station to Peshawar today (Friday).
According to the authorities of Pakistan Railways, the Jaffar Express would depart for Peshawar at 09:00 AM.
The Member National Assembly from Quetta, Jamal Shah Kakar and PR authorities would see off the train at the Railway Station, which is going to resume its operation after 17 days of suspension.
It may be mentioned here that Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi had announced resumption of the Jaffar Express between Quetta-Peshawar.
As per the announcement, Jaffar Express resumed its operation from Peshawar for Quetta on Thursday morning.
The Jaffar Express id scheduled to arrive in Quetta today (Friday) evening.
Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express resumed its operation from Sibi to Peshawar on Thursday afternoon.
The train service had been suspended after Jaffar Express had come under terrorist’s attack in Mushkaf area of Bolan on March 11, 2025.
