March 27, Peshawar: Prayer Gathering for Pakistan’s Stability and Security on the Night of 27th Ramadan at Historic Mahabat Khan Mosque

A grand prayer gathering was held at Peshawar’s historic Mahabat Khan Mosque on the night of 27th Ramadan, with a large number of people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participating. On this blessed night, special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s stability, progress, and security, along with thanksgiving prayers marking the country’s founding.

Addressing the gathering, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Khatib, Maulana Tayyab Qureshi, stated that Pakistan came into existence on the 27th night of Ramadan in 1947. He emphasized that on this sacred occasion, the people of Pakistan express their gratitude to Allah Almighty for the continued existence and prosperity of their beloved country. He highlighted that Pakistan is the only Islamic state established on the ideology of the Two-Nation Theory, for which millions of Muslims made great sacrifices.

Maulana Qureshi paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, police, and other security institutions, stating that the nation takes immense pride in their services. He further remarked that Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Islamic world, and its security is the collective responsibility of all Pakistanis.

Prayers were also offered for the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks across the country, as well as for the late mother of Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Hafiz Asim Munir, who passed away recently.

Concluding the gathering, Maulana Tayyab Qureshi called upon the entire nation to renew their commitment to Pakistan’s progress, stability, and sovereignty. He urged the people to remain united in their love and loyalty to the country.

Pakistan Zindabad!
