Consensus in high level meeting chaired by CM: Operations of security forces against terrorists to be expanded further
Chief Minister issues certain directives to concerned authorities for restoration of peace taking measures in this context more effective
QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has decided to expand operations of the security forces against terrorists in the province further.
The official sources said that the decision to this effect was made in a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Inspector General of Police, Moazzam Jah Ansari and other concerned high ups.
The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation, Eid security plan and security on the highways in Balochistan.
The authorities briefed the meeting about law and order situation besides the security situation in the province.
They also briefed about the measures taken for restoration of law and order. Certain important decisions were made in the meeting.
The meeting highly appreciated the successful operation against the security forces in Kalat.
During the meeting, there was consensus on expanding operations of the security forces further against terrorists in the province.
The sources informed that Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti issued standing directives to the concerned authorities for restoration of peace in the province.
He also directed to make the measures in this context more effective. All the security institutions were directed to make the efforts fruitful in this regard.
