55.678 kilograms of narcotic drug worth approximately 9.017 million PKR was recovered during the operations.
Operations against Networks Targeting Educational Institutions
Near a university on Japan Road, Islamabad, 45 ecstasy tablets were recovered from a suspect.
The arrested suspect confessed selling drugs to students of educational institutions.
Other Operations
• Near the Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza, 850 grams of ice (crystal meth) and 2.4 kilograms of suspicious powder was seized from two suspects, including a woman.
• Near Northern Bypass Road, Karachi, 25.2 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a vehicle. Three suspects were arrested.
• On Multan Road, Lahore, 19.2 kilograms of opium, 2 kilograms of heroin, and 6 kilograms of hashish was recovered from a rickshaw and a suspect was arrested
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Force Act 1997, and investigations are underway.
