KARACHI, July 27, 2025 : Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed on his 77th martyrdom anniversary and highlighted him being the first recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, the country’s highest military award for gallantry.
The Chief Minister stated that Captain Sarwar Bhatti sacrificed his life during the 1948 Indo-Pak war. His valiant actions effectively halted the enemy’s advance.
The Chief Minister highlighted the ongoing sacrifices made by military personnel for the defense of the country. He affirmed the role of Pakistan’s armed forces as the primary defenders of the country and expressed confidence in their ability to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
Shah reiterated the nation’s pride in the armed forces and expressed gratitude for their continuous sacrifices.
