The three-day Apricot Festival in Gulmat Gojal, Hunza, came to a vibrant conclusion with a grand closing ceremony. The event was attended by Special Assistant to the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Iman Shah, as the chief guest.

Cultural Significance

During the festival, Special Assistant Iman Shah visited various cultural and handicraft stalls, showcasing local artisans’ work and interacting with the community. He praised the efforts of local artists, youth, and craftsmen, highlighting Hunza’s reputation for patriotism, peace, and hospitality.

 

Iman Shah emphasized that such positive activities not only preserve the region’s culture but also open new avenues for tourism, employment, and regional development. He assured the community that he would continue to effectively represent their rights on every platform.
