TESCO and District Administration Conduct Joint Operation, Seal Three Factories

PESHAWAR: Following directives from TESCO’s Chief Executive Officer, strict action has been initiated against defaulters. A meeting of TESCO management was held at the Assistant Commissioner Barra’s office to review measures against defaulting consumers. It was decided to take action against Ayaz Steel Furnace, Khyber Foundry, and Sheikh Steel.
As per the meeting’s decision, the Assistant Commissioner Barra, Tehsildar Barra, and TESCO staff conducted a joint operation and sealed the three factories. Staff from Khyber and Barra subdivisions were also present.
The TESCO CEO stated that action against defaulters will continue without discrimination. Efforts will focus on improving company performance, timely recovery of dues, increasing revenue, and ensuring collection from defaulters. He emphasized that no leniency will be shown in eliminating illegal electricity connections (hooks) and tackling electricity theft.
He further noted that electricity theft and non-payment of bills harm the national treasury and are unfair to honest consumers. TESCO will intensify its anti-theft campaign to boost revenue and provide better services to consumers.
