Executive Engineer Roads Abdul Rahman Kakar expressed strong displeasure over the delay in completion of two under-construction bridges on the Pat Feeder Canal and Teepal Branch in the Pirupal area of Naseerabad district.
During an on-site inspection of the ongoing development works, he directed the contractor to accelerate the pace of construction and ensure early completion of the projects.
He stated that the government’s ongoing development projects are meant for public convenience, and any negligence or delay will not be tolerated.
Kakar further said that once completed, the bridges will facilitate smooth transportation and promote local trade and economic activity in surrounding areas. He warned that departmental action would be taken against the contractor if the project was not completed within the stipulated time frame.
