BARKHAN, Oct 25: Following Commissioner Loralai Division Wali Muhammad Badini’s surprise visit and strong notice over poor sanitation conditions, the district and municipal administrations have launched a 15-day special cleanliness campaign across Barkhan.
Under the supervision of Chief Officer Municipal Committee Muhammad Javed Kasi, the campaign began with the cleaning of main roads, drainage channels, and removal of garbage and overgrown shrubs.
Speaking to media, Chief Officer Kasi said, “This is not just an official action — it is a commitment. We will not rest until Barkhan becomes a clean and beautiful city.” He added that daily cleaning operations will continue for 15 days across all neighborhoods, and progress reports will be sent directly to the Commissioner’s Office.
