QUETTA, Oct. 25, 2025 — Due to the personal efforts and special interest of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, the New Muslimabad Girls Primary School on Sariab Road has been successfully relocated to a new building, where regular classes have now begun.

Established in 1987, the school had been functioning for several years in a rented house, facing severe financial and administrative difficulties that had brought it close to closure. Upon the school administration’s request for new premises, DC Badini initiated the construction of new classrooms on the rooftop of a boys’ school building.

Within a few months, the construction of classrooms and standard washrooms was completed, providing the school with improved facilities. Educational activities are now running effectively, with hundreds of girls actively pursuing their studies.

Teachers reported that the school had previously faced multiple theft incidents while operating in a rented building; however, the new facility has significantly improved both security and the learning environment.

The school is also offering free midday meals to promote both education and nutritional well-being among students. The district administration described the initiative as a model for promoting education, reaffirming its commitment to continue improving educational infrastructure and access in Quetta so that every child can benefit from quality education.
