GWADAR, Oct 25: On the direction of Assistant Commissioner Saad Kaleem Zafar, the Price Control Committee led by Shakeel Baloch inspected various markets and stalls across the city.

The team checked vegetable and fruit vendors, poultry sellers, and grocery stores for compliance with official price lists, hygiene standards, and expiration dates of goods. During the inspection, five shopkeepers were arrested for overcharging.
Shakeel Baloch stated that such inspections will continue to protect consumers from profiteering and to maintain stability in market prices.
