ISLAMABAD – Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid at Zardari House, Islamabad.
During the meeting, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed that the payment system under BISP should be made more transparent to ensure fair distribution of financial assistance among deserving individuals. He emphasized that the mechanism should be designed in a way that protects the dignity and self-respect of beneficiaries.
Senator Rubina Khalid assured the Chairman that further improvements would soon be introduced to enhance the transparency and efficiency of the BISP payment process.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also inquired about the progress of the Benazir Hunarmand Programme, for which Senator Rubina Khalid briefed him on the ongoing initiatives and performance updates.
