ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday lauded Pakistan’s security forces for successful counterterror operations in Tank and Lakki Marwat, which resulted in the killing of nine militants linked to the Indian-sponsored network Fitna Al-Khwarij.
The president commended the timely and effective action of the forces and paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans, stating that with the grace of God, the determination of the nation and its security institutions will remain unwavering until the complete elimination of this foreign-backed menace.
Zardari also praised the courage and resolve of the security forces in thwarting what he described as the “malicious designs” of Indian-backed militants, reaffirming national unity in the fight against terrorism.
