QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Tahir has said that the Balochistan Police is utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order in the province.
The IGP expressed these views while presiding over a video-link meeting with police officers from all ranges of the province at the Central Police Office on Friday.
During the course of meeting, officers gave detailed briefing to the IGP on the law-and-order situation and other security arrangements. Additional IG Police Javed Ali Mehar, Additional IG Police CTC Agha Muhammad Yousuf, DIG Headquarters Hassan Asad Alvi, DIG Quetta Police Imran Shaukat, DIG CTD Aitezaz Ahmad Goraya, DIG Special Branch Tahir Allauddin Kasi, DIG Crimes Branch Dr. Farhan Zahid and AIG Operations Naveed Alam were also present.
The IGP Muhammad Tahir directed the officers to further improve security arrangements in their respective areas and ensure protection of the public by all possible means.
He emphasized that the police force must take effective measures to prevent crime by using modern technology.
The IGP also stated that all police officers must fully perform their duties to maintain law and order and show immediate response in any emergency situation.
