Senior Superintendent of Police Jamshoro, Zafar Siddiq Chhanga, visited the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif to conduct a detailed review of security arrangements. During the visit, the SSP met police officers and personnel deployed at the site and issued directives aimed at strengthening law and order and ensuring the safety of visitors.
He inspected security deployments at entry and exit points as well as surrounding areas, instructing officers to remain vigilant, perform duties with discipline, and facilitate devotees to the maximum extent possible. Emphasis was placed on maintaining alertness and professionalism, particularly during peak visitor hours.
Following the security review, SSP Jamshoro paid respects at the shrine by offering a ceremonial chadar and prayed for national peace, stability, and prosperity. He reiterated the police department’s commitment to ensuring foolproof security for devotees and maintaining a peaceful environment at the revered site.
Police officials stated that security measures would continue to be reviewed regularly to address any potential threats and to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for pilgrims visiting the shrine.
