Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has described efforts to educate visually impaired individuals as highly commendable.
In her message on World Braille Day, she paid tribute to Louis Braille, calling the Braille system a symbol of knowledge and hope.
She said Punjab’s Special Education Centres of Excellence are equipped with active Braille reading systems and focused on empowering persons with disabilities by highlighting their abilities and talents.
