Quetta, Jan 20: Balochistan Grand Alliance employees staged protests demanding approval of committee recommendations. Police baton-charged protesters in the Red Zone, detaining several employees. The alliance declared an indefinite “pen-down” strike and a two-week jail bharo movement across the province. Leadership called on political parties, students, and citizens to support employees’ rights, warning that failure to address issues may escalate tensions further.
