Leaders of the All Balochistan Transporters Action Committee have demanded immediate removal of restrictions on night travel along national highways, terming the ban detrimental to passengers and the transport sector. They said the restrictions were causing serious hardships for patients, students, and business travelers, while also affecting the livelihoods of thousands of families linked to transport services. The committee argued that instead of imposing travel bans, authorities should strengthen security arrangements to ensure safe movement. Transporters warned that prolonged restrictions could disrupt economic activity and supply chains across the province. They called for urgent consultations with stakeholders to resolve the issue through balanced security measures.
