DC Usta Muhammad Demands Swift, Transparent Completion of Development Projects Under BSDI

USTA MUHAMMAD, Feb 12: Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad Ramzan Palal has directed all district officials to ensure that development projects are completed on time, maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and compliance with government regulations. He warned that negligence, delays, or substandard execution in public welfare schemes will not be tolerated, with strict action to be taken against responsible officials.
Under his leadership, comprehensive meetings of the District Implementation Committee and District Coordination Committee were convened. The sessions were attended by SSP Usta Muhammad Ghulam Hussain Bajoi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ismail Lashari, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Ramzan Ishtiaq, District Education Officer Shah Bakhsh Pindrani, representatives of the Public Health Engineering Department, and heads of all district departments.
During the meetings, participants reviewed the overall law and order situation, the progress of ongoing development schemes, and the status of completed and current projects under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) Phases I and II. Officials provided detailed briefings on departmental performance, operational challenges, financial and administrative matters, and plans for upcoming projects.
Several new development schemes were approved, focusing on improving basic facilities, education and healthcare services, access to clean drinking water, and strengthening district infrastructure. The Deputy Commissioner instructed departments to propose priority projects for BSDI Phase III that are sustainable, long-lasting, and directly aligned with public needs to maximize community benefits.
He emphasized that inter-departmental coordination, collaborative strategies, and integrated planning are essential to accelerate development efforts, enhance public welfare, and reinforce peace and stability in Usta Muhammad.
