According to an official handout issued on Monday, the chief minister directed authorities to ensure strict adherence to timelines, quality standards, and transparency in all road construction and rehabilitation projects being carried out under the “CM Local Roads” Programme.

She said road construction and rehabilitation work was progressing rapidly in various districts, while lane and line discipline had been declared mandatory in Lahore and other major cities of the province.

The chief minister also approved multi-billion-rupee transport infrastructure and bus stop projects in Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Multan, alongside mass transit schemes in Faisalabad and Gujranwala.
