ISLAMABAD, June 3: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) intensified its crackdown against drug traffickers and arrested two suspects during an operation near Kala Shah Kaku Toll Plaza, recovering 12 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs1 million.
According to an ANF spokesperson, officials recovered 2.4 kilograms of opium and 9.6 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle intercepted during the operation.
The spokesperson said cases had been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, while further investigations were underway to trace possible links of the accused with wider drug trafficking networks.
