Islamabad, 23 September 2025 : Pakistan has reiterated its unwavering support for the establishment of a Palestinian state and urged countries worldwide to formally recognize Palestine as an independent state.
The statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar during his participation in a high-level international summit co-hosted by Saudi Arabia and France. The summit focused on achieving a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue and implementing a two-state solution.
Minister Dar commended the recent announcements by several countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Portugal, recognizing the Palestinian state. He urged other nations to follow suit and align their actions with international legal commitments.
Pakistan, maintaining its consistent and principled stance, emphasized the importance of global solidarity and lawful recognition for Palestine, underlining that the international community has a responsibility to support peace, justice, and the rights of the Palestinian people.
