FIA Launches Financial and Legal Crackdown Against Religious Group Involved in Anti-State Violent Activities

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified its legal and financial actions against a religious group allegedly involved in anti-state protests and violent activities.
According to an official statement issued by the Directorate of Public Relations, FIA Headquarters Islamabad, the FIA Lahore Zone has initiated thorough investigations targeting key office bearers and activists of the group suspected of financing and participating in violent demonstrations.
Based on credible evidence, multiple bank accounts linked to the group have been frozen for allegedly being used to fund violent protests. The FIA has also begun the process of adding names of individuals involved in illegal funding and facilitation to the Stop List, restricting their foreign travel and financial operations.
An FIA spokesperson stated that the agency is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of illegal financial activities and funding related to anti-state movements. Further investigations are underway, and additional legal measures will be taken in light of the evidence collected.
