Islamabad Police have issued a detailed traffic advisory for the upcoming Test matches scheduled at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to October 29, 2025.
According to the spokesperson, a total of 310 traffic officers will be deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow during team movements between Islamabad and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Alternate routes for citizens have been announced as follows:
Those traveling from Margalla Road to Khanna should use Faisal Avenue → Blue Area → Club Road → Lehtrar Road.
Commuters heading toward G-9, G-10, G-11, or Tarnol should use the F-10 Road via Faisal Avenue.
Travelers coming from Rawalpindi Saddar to Islamabad should use Peshawar Mor → Srinagar Highway.
Those using IJP Road should switch to Sabzi Mandi Road.
Traffic flow may be affected during office hours and school timings on Expressway and Srinagar Highway. Citizens are advised to plan their travel with extra time and remain patient during peak hours.
