Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad Munir Ahmed Kakar took serious notice of public inconvenience caused by standing water at DC Chowk on the National Highway and directed Assistant Commissioner Dera Murad Jamali Bahadur Khan Khoso to ensure immediate drainage and civic relief measures.
Following the orders, the AC visited the affected site along with Municipal Committee and Public Health Engineering officials, reviewing the situation and ordering urgent pumping and repair of broken pipelines to prevent water accumulation.
He instructed municipal staff to accelerate drainage using machinery, emphasizing that stagnant water hampers both commuters and business activities.
AC Khoso assured that the district administration is utilizing all available resources to resolve civic issues and restore public convenience, reaffirming that citizen welfare remains the top priority of the administration.
