KHUZDAR: Allegations of financial exploitation by unregistered female doctors have created public outrage in Khuzdar. Sources reported that at a private clinic near Chandni Chowk, unlicensed doctors were charging over PKR 15,000 per normal delivery and reportedly mistreating patients who could not pay.
Complaints have been filed with the Khuzdar Health Department, yet no action has been taken. Allegations also extend to a gynecologist at Khuzdar Civil Hospital, who reportedly pressures patients to visit her private clinic. Citizens have demanded immediate verification of medical credentials and strict legal action against those found unqualified, along with restrictions on government doctors performing private clinic duties.
