Quetta, November 3, 2025:

Leaders of parties participating in the Pakistan Constitutional Protection Movement criticized the delay in issuing the opposition leader notification for Mahmood Khan Achakzai, calling it unconstitutional and unreasonable. PTI provincial president Dad Shah Kakr, PMAP central general secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Balochistan National Party Secretary Information Agha Hasan Baloch, and other leaders said restrictions on PTI rallies or enforcement of Section 144 to block political activity amounted to suppression of democratic processes.

They announced PTI’s central rally on November 7 and PMAP’s Quetta rally on December 2, warning that any attempts to sabotage these gatherings would be the responsibility of relevant authorities, including the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Leaders also condemned denial of press conference access at Quetta Press Club as an attack on democracy and media freedom, stressing they would continue their peaceful and constitutional struggle for parliamentary supremacy and citizens’ rights.
