Bushra Bibi Files Petition for Early Hearing on Sentence Suspension in £190 Million Case

Islamabad: Bushra Bibi, wife of the PTI founder, has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court seeking an urgent hearing of her plea for suspension of sentence in the £190 million corruption case.

The petition argues that delaying the hearing violates the Women Protection Act and the Supreme Court’s directions for prioritizing bail and suspension cases. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been named as a respondent.
