On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Diamer Captain (R) Atta-ur-Rehman Kakar, rescue teams led by local magistrates reached Babusar Top to assist passengers and tourists stranded due to heavy snowfall along the Babusar Highway.
According to district administration officials, the rescue operation is in full swing, with all stranded individuals being safely evacuated to secure locations. Snow-clearing machinery has also been deployed to restore traffic flow, while senior officials are personally monitoring the operation on-site.
Deputy Commissioner Kakar reaffirmed that ensuring the safety and relief of citizens remains the administration’s top priority. He advised travelers to avoid unnecessary journeys until weather conditions improve.
