Quetta, November 20 — Senior Provincial Minister and Parliamentary Leader of PPP, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, chaired a review meeting on the Balochistan Agricultural Income Tax Rules 2025.
Provincial ministers and senior officials attended the session.

Secretary Revenue Virender Lal briefed participants, stating that although the Agricultural Income Tax Ordinance was approved in 2000, major revisions were introduced this year, leading to the cabinet’s approval of the updated 2025 rules.
He said the system would enhance provincial revenue and contribute positively to the national economy. Ministers proposed improvements and agreed to continue reviewing related matters in subsequent meetings.
