Chaman, 7 December 2025:
Tensions continue at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, which has been closed for 53 days. Afghan refugee repatriation is ongoing, though operations were paused for a day due to recent clashes. Heavy fighting resumed yesterday, with the use of large weapons. Four people were injured in Kalle Luqman due to Afghan shelling, and Bab-e-Dosti sustained significant damage.
In response, Pakistani forces repelled the attack, secured nearby villages, and relocated Afghan refugees to safe locations. Security at the border has been intensified, and fresh contingents remain on high alert.
