Kashmore, December 21, 2025 — Acting on directives issued by Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana Range, Nasser Aftab, Kashmore police successfully thwarted a kidnapping attempt and rescued a citizen from Faisalabad.
According to police officials, the victim was being lured to the riverine (Katcha) area under the pretext of marriage. Using technical intelligence, Kashmore police conducted a timely operation within the limits of Kashmore police station and safely recovered Muhammad Bilal, son of Allah Dad, before any harm could occur.
Police warned that criminal groups are increasingly using fake calls and messages to trap individuals with offers of marriage, friendship, employment, low-priced vehicles, or livestock. Citizens have been urged not to respond to such contacts and to immediately inform local police in case of any suspicious communication.
Police said public cooperation remains vital in preventing serious crimes and ensuring timely action against criminal networks.
