Thatta, December 21, 2025 – Thatta Police, under SSP Farooq Ahmed Bajrani and directives from IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, carried out successful operations leading to the arrest of four criminals, including two involved in robbery, one drug peddler, and one gutka seller.
A Suzuki pickup (LF-1195) carrying 2,050 packets of Indian gutka was intercepted near Shah Murad Link Road. Shah Nawaz Jokhio was arrested, along with the vehicle and contraband. During related investigations, SHO Gharro recovered two pistols and a motorcycle from robbery suspects Ayaz alias Uloom Chandio and Dawlat Khan Pathan. Drug peddler Abid Chandio was also caught with 20 bags of local alcohol.
Cases have been registered under the Narcotics Ordinance, Gutka Act, and Arms Act.
