Islamabad, December 25, 2025:
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community across Pakistan, including Christian members of parliament. In his message, the Speaker said that Christmas conveys a universal message of love, peace, sacrifice, and service to humanity, while the teachings of Hazrat Isa (AS) promote patience, tolerance, and compassion.
He emphasized that interfaith harmony and mutual respect are among Pakistan’s greatest collective strengths. Highlighting constitutional guarantees, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that the Constitution of Pakistan ensures religious freedom and equal rights for all citizens without discrimination.
The Speaker paid tribute to the valuable contributions of the Christian community in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and public service, describing their role as vital to national development. He reaffirmed Parliament’s commitment to safeguarding the constitutional rights of minorities and promoting peaceful coexistence among all religious communities.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq concluded by reiterating that unity, tolerance, and respect for diversity are essential for a strong, inclusive, and progressive Pakistan.
