Quetta, January 5, 2026:
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated unwavering support for the Kashmiri people on the occasion of Kashmiris’ Right to Self-Determination Day. In a special message shared on social media platform X, he said the United Nations had recognized Kashmiris’ right to self-determination 77 years ago, yet the promise remains unfulfilled.
The chief minister said Indian actions in occupied Kashmir continue to result in grave human rights violations, while the silence of the international community is regrettable and condemnable. He emphasized that the people and government of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiris and will continue moral and diplomatic support at all levels, adding that a just resolution of the Kashmir issue is essential for lasting regional peace.
