Federal Ombudsman Restores Property Ownership to Dr. Nazir Ahmed

Islamabad/Quetta, 18 January 2026: Dr. Nazir Ahmed has successfully regained ownership of his 10-marla plot on Natiya Road, Thanda Pani, Islamabad, following a directive from the Federal Ombudsman.
Dr. Ahmed stated that he had completed all installments for the plot between 2015 and 2018. Subsequently, some party members went underground, preventing the transfer of ownership. He filed a complaint with the Federal Ombudsman in Islamabad, who initiated proceedings. Within eight months, the plot was returned to Dr. Nazir Ahmed.
Dr. Ahmed expressed his gratitude for the prompt and fair resolution of his case.

Federal Ombudsman Orders Ufone to Pay Rs. 5.2 Million Rent to Muhammad Waris
Quetta, 18 January 2026: Muhammad Waris has received Rs. 5,200,000 in overdue rent from Ufone for a telecom tower on his property, following intervention by the Federal Ombudsman.
Waris explained that Ufone had been obliged to pay rent for the tower on his plot but had failed to do so for the past five years, despite repeated reminders. He filed a complaint with the Federal Ombudsman in Quetta regarding departmental delays and inaction.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Ombudsman promptly conducted an inquiry, summoned the relevant department, and initiated immediate proceedings. Finding no satisfactory explanation, the Ombudsman ordered that the overdue rent be paid. The department complied immediately, settling the amount with Waris.
The complainant thanked the Federal Ombudsman for the timely and just resolution.
