Loralai, January 24:
A comprehensive cleanliness campaign is actively underway across Loralai city under the directives of Loralai Division Commissioner Wali Muhammad Baloch and special instructions of Municipal Committee Chief Officer Mohibullah Khan Baloch.
Sanitation staff conducted extensive cleaning operations in multiple zones, including Government College Alam Jan Tip, Excise Office Tip, Hazara Mohalla, Dr Saleh Colony, and Dobigat Mohalla. Streets, roads, and drainage lines were cleared of garbage to improve hygiene and living conditions.
To address public complaints promptly, drainage cleaning was also completed in designated complaint zones, helping improve water flow and prevent sanitation issues. Collected waste was transported to designated disposal sites outside the city.
Officials stated that the primary goal of the campaign is to provide residents with a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment, adding that the operation will continue without interruption. Citizens appreciated the municipal committee’s efforts and expressed satisfaction with improved cleanliness, while also requesting immediate cleaning of some remaining problem areas to ensure citywide sanitation.
